Just love watching the master at work

I was aware of Tommy switching to Meinl cymbals, but I wasn't aware of him using Aquarian drumheads now... also he's using a metal snare, I always saw him using wooden snares, that's pretty interesting! It's also fascinating to me, how he isn't using the high-end cymbal models, he being such an artist in such a band. Thanks for posting this, you not only give us the chance to see the gear they're using, but with your content helps to remind us what a world-class dummer Tommy is!

YES thank Antti for another Sonata video. I like Meinl better than Paiste but somehow I still can't get used to see him play Meinl. Also, it's interesting how he moves his right foot during some parts like 1:10 Instead of playing toe first (like with his left leg) he seems to playing with his heel leading the foot movement. I don't know, it seems counterintuitive.

Myrath's drumming lost quality according to the years and albums. Certainly Saif Ouhibi was the best one among the three who played for this band so far. Certainly the 2 first albums were so much more progressive and technical. From the third on the quality fell considerably.

I've always loved the mix on Atte's kit. Interesting to see on stage he uses a combination of live mics and triggers. Such an underrated drummer, his groves make this band.
